Activity Description
A two-day journey crossing Mount Parnassus from East to West, from Amfikleia to Delphi, to experience the history. A history that tells of humanity’s need and deep anxiety to cling to a higher power and to discover the future.
We will reach the “navel of the Earth” to encounter the Pythia. The journey begins in the beautiful town of Amfikleia and continues through the dense fir forest of Mount Parnassus. The overnight stay takes place in a beautiful mountain refuge in the forest at an altitude of 1,800 meters.
The next day, with renewed energy, the route meets the nymphs at the cave of the god Pan — the Corycian Cave — and finally ends at the Oracle of Delphi.
